About Me:

John Sample (Yes! That is my name, a name perfect for a passion for audio!!) studied Sound Design at The Theatre School of DePaul University. He is a sound designer who strives to support the vision of creative projects through immersive sound design and complimentary music composition. John hopes to work on creative projects that have a lasting impact on audience members through narratives based on different life perspectives. His audio experience spans many formats including theatrical shows, animations, short films, live recording, and audiobooks. John has had his work featured in the 2025 City of Lights Film Festival for his sound design in 'Little Things'. During his studies at The Theatre School, John was a sound designer for plays including: William Shakespeare's "All's Well That Ends Well" and The Theatre School of DePaul University Centennial Immersive Show, "The Lieutenant's Dream", among other productions.
